Amazon Releases New Character Posters For Lord Of The Rings- Rings Of Power

Amazon Studios has released a series of new character posters for its upcoming Lord of the Rings series, Rings of Power, which premieres in September. The character posters are striking and intriguing, providing a first glimpse at some of the people we’ll meet in the long-awaited fantasy show.

The images don’t show any character faces and don’t give away too much, but fans will surely spend time poring over them for secrets and other mysteries. You can see all the new posters in the gallery below. What’s clear is that the show will have a big cast of diverse characters from a variety of backgrounds.

Alan Wake 2 Patch Promises Over 200 Fixes

A new update available now for the critically acclaimed Alan Wake 2 features over 200 “individual improvements and fixes,” according to developer Remedy. The range of issues addressed by the patch include progression bugs, UI polish, and lip sync.

Officially called the 08 update (spotted by VGC), Remedy notes “improved lighting” are a part of this patch on the Alan Wake 2 website, along with “several conversations failing to trigger and thus blocking progress later have been fixed.” For example, the developer mentions players wouldn’t be able to choose Rose’s dialogue options at times.

Deadfall Adventures Review

In many games, you unlock ancient discoveries and acquire grand treasures as a reward. But not all tombs offer something grandiose, and a long trek down a musty corridor may sometimes yield disappointment.

Deadfall Adventures is one such trek. The game draws its history from H.R. Haggard’s Allan Quatermain series of adventure novels written in the late 1800s, but the plot of Deadfall Adventures bears a closer resemblance to the Indiana Jones movie–which were in part inspired by Haggard’s books–than to Haggard’s books themselves. Set in 1938, Deadfall Adventures stars Allan’s great-grandson, James Quatermain, a hard-drinking, hard-fighting adventurer who must keep an all-powerful ancient artifact from Nazis who will use its power to gain an edge in the upcoming world war. Marvel Multiverse Movie Directors Confused Why Downey Jr. Thinks Iron Man Can Return

Earlier this month, Robert Downey Jr. expressed his willingness to return to Marvel despite the fact that his signature character, Tony Stark/Iron Man, perished in Avengers: Endgame. During a recent interview with Total Film, Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo shared their skeptical response to Downey’s desire to make a MCU comeback.

“I don’t know how they would do it,” said Anthony Russo. “I don’t know what the road to that would be [laughs].”

“I mean, we closed that book,” added Joe Russo. “So it would be up to them to figure out how to reopen it.”

Somehow, the Russos seem to have forgotten that their own movie led to the return of multiversal variants of Gamora and Loki despite both of those characters dying at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.…

Maria Bakalova Joins Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 For "Key Role"

Maria Bakalova, widely introduced to the world as Borat’s daughter Tutar in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, has joined the MCU with a key role in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3. Deadline was first to report.

Director James Gunn recently teased the involvement of an “unannounced actor” in the film, and Deadline is confirming that the Bulgarian actor is not this mystery person. A similar clarification was issued last week, when The Suicide Squad’s Daniela Melchior was announced as part of the cast–but she also was not the mystery person. Responding to Deadline’s new report, Gunn took to Twitter saying, “I guess I should be surprised it took you guys this long to get this one,” adding that Bakalova is “incredible” in the sequel.

Mass Effect- Andromeda Review

After the first few hours of Mass Effect: Andromeda, I was discouraged–maybe even a little distraught. Within that short span of time, I’d already encountered unconvincing animations, bog standard missions, clunky user interface, stilted dialogue–basically every red flag you hope to avoid when approaching a lengthy shooter-RPG powered equally by action and story.

Thankfully, Andromeda did improve. As I progressed, I unlocked exhilarating new combat options, met characters with deeper appeal than my initial crew, and discovered freely explorable worlds that finally fulfilled the series’ decade-old planet-hopping promise. And yet, some of those early problems persisted throughout, and while I did catch glimmers of the original trilogy’s greatness, that shine wa…

Loadout Review

Loadout feels good on the PlayStation 4. It’s not just how well the game has adapted Sony’s controller, but also that small changes have translated into some big differences. This free-to-play third-person shooter is all about collecting gun parts and crafting them into vicious weapons that lash out with fire, lightning, or spiked metal spheres–just as it was on the PC. But on the PlayStation 4, Loadout tries new things, completely revamping its method of distributing weapon parts that makes collecting them almost as exciting as constructing them into a vast array of deadly guns. Despite a lackluster campaign and a locked-out ranked mode, Loadout is a frantic and entertaining shooter on the PlayStation 4 and will keep you happy on your quest for loot, with a smile on your face and …
